The software supported for the firm consisted of WordPerfect (DOS, Windows and Macintosh versions), WordPerfect Office, CompareRite, Full Authority, Lotus 1-2-3 (DOS and Windows) and Filemaker Pro (Windows and Macintosh). I developed applications for the Corporate department's database in both dBase IV and Paradox for Windows. I provided support for the UNIX-based BRS conflicts system. I was a member of the project team installing PC Docs document management system on a Windows NT server using MS SQL Server.

Because of the size and prestige of the firm, I was able to work directly with many of the manufacturers and software developers in the development, implementation and installation of their products.

I was co-administrator for the firm's 500 user Banyan VINES LAN/WAN network connecting all systems in the Los Angeles and Washington D.C. offices. I also installed and administered a Lantastic network at the firm's Nashville office. I was a member of the project team to implement enterprise-wide email (Beyond Mail) and scheduling (CaLANdar). I implemented an enterprise- wide networked desktop fax application (Alcom's LanFax). I implemented network remote access using a variety of native VINES and third-party applications as well as network access to a variety of legal and general on-line data services. I installed and setup an off-line network data archiving system. Data storage utilized a 24 cassette Optical-Magneto jukebox system.
